Drill and Blast Engineering

• Responsible for doing drill designs, load packs, and tie-in plans
• Weekly scheduling of the drill rig movements and loading areas.
• Designing of sensitive blasts by working with constraints such as MIC, Fly rock and Scaled depth of burial
• Created a Power BI dashboard for the performance of different drill bits

Development and Production Engineering

• Responsible in getting approvals for the ground disturbance for the initial clearing activities of the pit
• Providing inputs to the scheduling team for the digging sequence and strategies
• Driving the priorities for the development fleet (digger,dozers and CAT 777 trucks) to align with the 3 monthly plans
• Designing Haul roads, Flitch Plan, ramps and waste and low grade dumps

Open Pit Field time

• Blast crew - Worked in the blast crew for 56 shifts, was taksed in offsiding the MMU's, Priming up holes,tie in holes and blast gaurding.
• Truck Operator - Completed 42 shifts as a CAT 793 operator, was tasked in getting loaded by diggers and loaders and tipping at the tip head and crushers.

• Drill and Blast Engineering (Drill designs, Charge plans), Tie in Daveytronic dets and fire the stope.
• Assisting Production engineer with the Weekly Scheduling. (Schedule plan for Jumbos and long holes based on the monthly plans)
• Liase with the Ventilation officer in conducting Primary and Secondary surveys.Maintain the ventsim model to reflect current status. Work instruction for fan movements and vent walls.
• Liasing with foreman to build a dewatering schematic of the mine and identify locations for the placement of PRV's
• Build a mine services layer to reflect the dewatering infrastructure, electrical infrastructure
• Analyse the stope performance by doing Stope reconciliation
