I have been the Logistics and 3PL Manager—ANZ at Avery Dennison since 2017. In this role, I oversee five 3PL sites and manage National Logistics Operations for Australia and New Zealand. Prior to moving to Australia in 2016, I worked for 14 years at DHL Supply Chain NZ, where I managed shop floor warehouse operations for a variety of clients, including those in FMCG, life sciences, animal health, consumer electronics, cold chain management, dangerous goods storage, and dairy products. Financial monitoring - Overseeing budget and continuously improving operations to ensure alignment. At Avery Dennison, I managed a budget of AUD 5 million as part of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), making sure that costs met the forecasted budget. By implementing several productivity projects, I successfully reduced costs by 5% without compromising the customer experience.
Transport & 3PL Tender – Taken lead in managing the end-to-end tendering process to select the best transport and 3PL service provider. This involved conducting a site visit to understand the service providers' infrastructure, people, IT systems, capacity and capabilities, Great exposure to RFP and RFQ tender documents.
Contract Management – A client-centric approach to contract management, including aligning contract reviews with the management’s strategy. Currently managing contracts for over 6 service providers.
Warehouse Management – Coordinate and manage day to day operations to ensure inbound, outbound, inventory KPIs are met daily, weekly and monthly.
Inwards/Outbound Function – Scheduling of all inbound/outbound activities, including container grid management, inbound data analysis, resource and storage planning, order analysis/processing, and management of multiple 3PL sites. Receipt and booking on time.
Inventory Control – Significant experience in inventory analysis, EDI inventory reconciliation and coordination, Daily Cycle Count, Managing annual stock take
Team Management – Signification experience managing large teams (Successfully managed team of more than 40 staffs), Experience in labour forecasting, rostering, performance monitoring, recruiting and staff training
Health and Safety – Promotion of a safe working environment, including hazard/incident management, ISO Qualities compliance for site maintenance, Chain of Responsibility development of SOPs and training
Project Management – Experience across the entire project cycle, with expertise in expense management and successes in significant cost savings. Monitoring and managing the project timeline to completion
Information Technology – Significant involvement in pilot testing, development of instructional manuals/SOPs, and continuous improvement. I have strong PC skills in MS Office.
ERP- Super user for SAP-WM, Manhattan and salesforce.com – Advanced use of ERP, WMS systems and RF technology, and experience in training and implementation of such systems. Along with ERP systems.
