• Preparing patients for surgery involving preoperative assessments, medications, patient preparations and carrying pre-op questionnaires/ checklists.
• To provide health care, advice and post-surgery education for patients with a large range of surgical conditions/ operations.
• Provided direct patient care, stabilized patients and determined next course of action.
• Providing preoperative instructions to the patients having surgeries.
• Advocated for patients by communicating care preferences to practitioners/ healthcare teams and verifying interventions met treatment goals.
• Implemented medication and IV administration, and airway management (when required).
• To provide quality nursing care to short stay pre and post operative patients following any procedures until their discharge.
• Reviewed post-operative orders and continuously monitored patients' post-operative vitals, set up PCA and fluids and oriented patients to unit.

• Preparing, checking and administering the vaccines (Pfizer, AZ or Moderna) to the public.
• Vaccine preparation including including multi dose vial syringe preparation.
• Assess client's readiness for vaccination and obtain informed consent from vaccine program participants.
• Manage client's data entry on electronic system at time of vaccination.
• Post vaccination disposal of clinical waste and cleaning/ preparation of immunisation area for next client.
• Clinically observe client's in the post vaccination area for signs of complications such as vasovagal or anaphylaxis.
• Be able to respond to and raise issue or concerns to the nurse immuniser/ team leader or the NUM regarding complications or emergency situations, such as anaphylaxis.

· Assisting complex and vulnerable patients to provide IPS service.

· Following therapy plans such as interventions to assist those with dementia and behavioural problems.

· Assisting nursing and midwifery staff with routine technical support functions including setting up for procedures, cleaning equipment and completing basic documentation.

· Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and documentations.

· Screening staffs/visitors for any COVID symptoms before entering the premise.

· Observing patients physical and psychological status and responses during the course of interactions within scope of knowledge and report changes to the RN.

· Maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for patients, staffs and visitors.

· Assist in the collection of clinical data as allocated by the Registered Nurse such as patient’s height and weight, vitals observations, patient’s physical assessment and skin integrity.

· Observe patients physical and psychological status and response during the course of interactions within a scope of knowledge, and report changes to the Registered Nurse.

· Assisting patient’s in their ADLs and completing assessments on patients.

· Screening staffs/visitors for any COVID symptoms before entering the premise.

· Swabbing clients with COVID symptoms.
