As a team member at Subway, I had the opportunity to develop valuable skills in customer service, food preparation, and teamwork. I gained hands-on experience in preparing fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to Subway's standards and procedures. My responsibilities included greeting and serving customers, operating cash registers, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Working at Subway taught me the importance of efficiency, attention to detail, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment. I also learned the significance of teamwork and collaboration in delivering exceptional service to customers.
I transitioned from volunteering as a primary school assistant teacher to working as a babysitter for a family with five siblings, ranging from 6 months to six years old. Responsibilities included creating a safe environment, meal preparation, educational activities, and fostering positive interactions. Subsequently, I worked full-time as a babysitter for a two-year-old boy until I moved to Australia last year. My responsibilities included planning activities, ensuring safety, managing routines like meals and naps, and communicating with the child's parents about his well-being and development.
I spent a week volunteering at Marlborough primary school. In the course of this week i worked alongside numerous different age groups, including nursery students, year four and year six students, providing them with supportand assistance as well as supervising them if neccessary.
In my free time, I enjoy engaging in activities that promote both mental and physical well-being. One of my favorite pastimes is reading, which allows me to explore new ideas, perspectives, and cultures while stimulating my imagination. I particularly enjoy crime, mystery or romance novels.
My availability primarily includes evenings, as I dedicate my weekdays to university commitments. While I am unavailable on Sundays due to my church obligations spanning both morning and afternoon, I am fully available to work on Saturdays.
