Summary

I am a 22 year old female actively seeking further employment in air conditioning and refrigeration as a fully qualified tradesperson. I began my apprenticeship in January of 2020 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time learning and gaining experience in the industry and working as a HVAC technician and now i would like to continue my career as a qualified technician. I have completed all TAFE modules and testing and completed and passed my capstone in late 2022.

  • During my apprenticeship i have gained experience in installations of split systems, package units and RAC’s along with ventilation systems and heating
  • During my first two years i assisted in breakdowns, ie diagnosing and repairing both electrical and refrigeration and during the more recent years i have taken on these responsibilities unaccompanied by other technicians, which includes sign on procedures, documents and permits, diagnostics and repairs, maintaining and job management
  • I am experienced in speaking to customers and clients regarding the work carried out and any further information they may be required to know
  • I write reports for both breakdowns and maintenances and keep up an asset list including brand, kilowatt rating, filter type and size if replaceable, location and site for air conditioning units and ventilation systems
  • I have spent most of my time in Bluescope Steel, Appin mines sites and Sydney Water sites.
