During this fixed-term contract, I joined the leadership team in the Intensive Care Unit.
I undertook quality improvement projects, including hand hygiene education and new signage in clinical areas in response to below-benchmark audits, a staff satisfaction survey to identify areas for improvement in ANUM roles, and the introduction of enteral feeding forms to reduce administration errors.
I also participated in team-building days, including the Grampians Health ANUM day held in Stawell.

Filled a short-term maternity leave contract with the Intensive Care Unit.

Worked as a permanent staff member in the Intensive Care as I undertook my post-graduate course.

Achieved comprehensive care to medical and surgical patients from admission through to discharge, including patient assessments, care planning, health education and discharge planning.
