During this fixed-term contract, I joined the leadership team in the Intensive Care Unit.
I undertook quality improvement projects, including hand hygiene education and new signage in clinical areas in response to below-benchmark audits, a staff satisfaction survey to identify areas for improvement in ANUM roles, and the introduction of enteral feeding forms to reduce administration errors.
I also participated in team-building days, including the Grampians Health ANUM day held in Stawell.
