Leadership and Staff Development:

• Conduct research for the development and updating of policies and procedures, ensuring that care standards reflect the latest best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
• Skillfully manage rosters using the HealthRoster program, ensuring optimal staffing levels and efficient resource allocation.

Patient Care and Management:

• Expertly refer patients to cardiac rehabilitation programs, ensuring continuity of care and optimal recovery pathways.

• Predominantly working within the pacemaker service, assisting the interventionalist in all procedures including pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, biventricular lead upgrade, generator box change, loop recorder insertion/removal
• Rotate through all nursing roles from admission, to sedation, scout/scrub, and monitors
• Participate in coronary angiography procedures that range from diagnostic angiograms to complex percutaneous interventions
• Provide informal in-services and work closely with the CNS to develop and renew policies and procedures
• Assist with sourcing and procurement of consumables required for Cath Lab procedures
