  • Junior School Literacy Leader (2022-current). Responsibilities included: overseeing the implementation of a structured literacy approach (Science of Reading and Writing), facilitated planning, planning and presenting school closure days and Professional Learning Team Meetings, and implementing an evidence-based assessment schedule.
  • Member of the Student Learning Team (2021-current). Part of the team that reviewed internal school referrals. Looked at data and student work samples before referring teachings to the next step of the process which could include additional tier two assessment, case management, or referral to external services.
  • Student Wellbeing Leader (2011-2012). Responsibilities included overseeing the implementation of a whole school approach to teaching Social and Emotional Learning, overseeing the school leadership program (including SRC and Student Action Teams), maintaining links with community groups such as School Focussed Youth Services and other schools in the local community through cluster groups, the introduction of the PAT- Wellbeing suit to monitor student wellbeing throughout the school, introducing a 'start up' wellbeing unit at the start of each year which incorporated the key messages of self-regulation, growth mindset, student safety, and leadership, implemented classroom and playground behaviour tracking tools to monitor students who may require additional support or procedures that may need to be modified, supported the implementation of the Child Safe Standards in 2017.
  • Member of the CEM's Student Voice Reference Group (2017-2020). Liaised with CEM and VicSRC to use the Students as Researchers model and Teach the Teacher to increase student voice at St Patrick's. With students, wrote articles for Connect magazine promoting student voice.
  • Member of The Student Wellbeing Executive Committee (Easter Region) (2020 and 2021). Planning for professional learning for the Student Wellbeing Network.
  • Classroom teaching responsibilities include building and fostering positive relationships with students and their families, planning and implementing a teaching program that includes differentiated learning, collecting, analysing and using data to inform teaching,
