Work History

Volunteer

Coopers
09.2019 - 10.2019
  • Animal Refuge Bacchus Marsh Rd
  • Whilst completing my cert II in Animal Studies, I volunteered at the Coopers Animal Refuge
  • At the shelter, I practiced basic skills such as cleaning the cages and feeding kangaroos
  • This was an extremely rewarding placement as I got to work up close with kangaroo’s and learnt so much about their needs and how such a minor injury can become life threatening
  • Maintained clean, neat, and operational facilities to serve program needs.

Area manager / Crew Trainer / Café & marketing coordinator

McDonalds
01.2012 - 09.2021
  • I previously worked at McDonald’s for 9 years and started as a crew person
  • Over the years I worked my way up and became a crew trainer, café coordinator and a manager
  • Our values at McDonalds are highly based on customer experience
  • Throughout my years at this job, I learnt that making sure customers have the best experience they can is the most important value, to both the store and the people
  • I have acquired skills that enable me to work and communicate affectively in a team environment but also be able to work hard individually and in a fast-paced environment
  • I was a leader in areas at the store and thrive on helping others become their best self and work their way up to the top
  • Working in the position of marketing coordinator under the customer experience team, means dealing with customer complaints and issues that arise
  • It was a big accomplishment to keep my first job for nine years
