Proactive Clinical Care Coordinator excited to transition into a new position where my passion and drive in assisting and caring for others can be utilised. I began as a Personal Care Assistant at the age of 19 at an Aged Care Facility whilst I was studying a Bachelor's of Nursing Degree. Whilst working in the Aged Care sector, I found a strong desire to utilise skills learnt from the Nursing Degree, and continued on to become a Registered Nurse at the facility. Over the past 5 years I remained at the facility, constantly learning, growing and completing other certificates and training. This included completing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate in Infection Prevention and Control, as well as obtaining a Certificate in Cosmetic Injectables. After a few years of nursing, I was promoted to the Infection Prevention Control Lead of the facility, as well as the Clinical Care Coordinator. Whilst working in the current role as a Clinical Care Coordinator and IPC Lead, I ventured out and became a Support Worker for various clients out of work hours. This included providing support with medication administration, assisting with exercise programs and linking clients with resources gained from my nursing experience that could assist them in maintaining a good quality of life. I have a strong desire to continuously learn, grow and most importantly, provide assistance to promote a good quality of life.
