Hi, my name is Sarah, I am a 36 year old mother of three. I have recently relocated to Deniliquin to be with my partner. I have unfortunately been out of full time work for some time due to previously being on my own for many years with a special needs child. Therefore holding mostly part time positions where possible. I am lucky enough to now have a wonderful support system and respite for my son. Finally giving me to opportunity to chase my employment goals. I have had a wonderful and diverse life journey so far, making it easy for me to connect with people from all different aspects of life. This has given me an advantage both personally and professionally. I am a dedicated, driven and passionate individual committed to creating a wonderful life for my family through hard work and determination. I believe I would be a valued member of any organisation, given the opportunity to prove myself.
With my employment at Tattersalls Hotel I had many roles. Including balancing and managing all aspects of the bar, drive through, accommodation and restaurant whilst always providing excellent customer service. This was a busy family-run business where I enjoyed streamlining operations and prioritising aspects to increase revenue by 25%. I am proud of the positive environment I created and the wonderful relationships I made with patrons. Here, I believe I was a valued and trusted employee who was relied upon and consistently met expectations.
My role at the bowling club was bar waitress/gaming attendant, tending to and monitoring patrons gaming needs including all aspects of TAB, Keno and all gaming machines. I also maintained all aspects the bar including stock take, daily takings as well as taking phone and patron orders for the restaurant.
I managed a small café whilst pregnant with my first child and then part time after his birth. Doing all general café duties including training and overseeing other members, providing excellent customer service, taking orders, cooking, cleaning, operating cash registers, EFTPOS machine, coffee machine's, ordering, stock take and all other duties required.
I started my employment here in a relief Administration Assistant position and was very quickly offered a permanent position, moving my way up to Administration Officer, then Employment Consultant then Case Manager where I managed a case load of over 60 clients who I trained mentored and coached to improve employment results for both clients and employers. I dabbled in all services while here but thoroughly enjoyed working within the Disability network finding it extremely rewarding. I was approached by and opposing network Employment Works Kerang and worked there for a small period of time in the same position before relocating.
