Participating in debating club during high school significantly contributed to my personal and intellectual development. It honed my critical thinking and analytical skills, allowing me to construct compelling arguments and articulate my thoughts effectively. Engaging in debates fostered confidence in public speaking and the ability to think on my feet, skills that have proven invaluable in various aspects of my life. Furthermore, the club provided a platform for me to engage in stimulating discussions on diverse topics, broadening my perspectives and enhancing my understanding of complex issues. Team debates taught me how collaborating with others allowed us to combine our strengths, brainstorm ideas, and develop comprehensive arguments collectively.

Volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul Society Thrift Stores was a transformative experience that enriched both my personal and professional growth. My responsibilities encompassed various tasks, including organizing donated items, assisting customers, and managing inventory. Engaging in these activities taught me the importance of attention to detail, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Working at Phoenix Netball Club in Brisbane during grade 1-3 instilled in me a deep appreciation for teamwork from an early age. Through playing alongside teammates, I learned the importance of cooperation, communication, and mutual support on and off the court. This experience not only cultivated my ability to collaborate effectively but also instilled a sense of camaraderie and unity that has remained with me throughout my life.
