From Little Things exists to solve the critical issues facing outstanding organizations both large and small. In 2018, the opportunity arose to support newer and more diverse organizations with strategic fundraising and project management support and I jumped at the chance. I specialize in global philanthropic funding and have worked across all the major markets including the EU, US, China, India, Southeast Asia, African Continent and Oceania region.

Wicked challenges, like climate change, require multi-pronged and transdisciplinary approaches for successful adaptation and mitigation. Our work focuses on co-developing initiatives that weave local, Indigenous and cultural knowledge with scientific and technical expertise and foster multi-generational engagement.

• New Energy Nexus is an international organization that supports diverse clean energy entrepreneurs with funds, accelerators and networks. We started in California and also operate programs in China, India, Southeast Asia, and East Africa.
• Responsible for fundraising strategy and supported income growth from USD$3-4M a year to $11 - 12M a year. Staff growth from around 30 to 120 staff.
• Secured new 7 figure multi-year core funding grant.
• Grew and diversified donor based globally.

• Coordination of MSF's first international capital fundraising campaign.
• Leading an international working group of MSF teams from Canada, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Sweden, UK and Germany to successfully secure funding target of 18.8M.
• Recruited the first Board of Advisors for MSF and managed their activities throughout the duration of the campaign.
• Conducted research on target markets and developed detailed profiles of target audiences.
• Cultivated relationships with key influencers within target communities in order to garner support for initiatives or causes supported by the organization.
• Assisted in preparing grant proposals for funding opportunities associated with specific projects or initiatives.

• Seasoned in global campaigns, mass mobilisations and strategic communications, GCCA works in partnership with organisations to help them grow their impact and accelerate solutions to climate change.
• Supported new entrants to the climate movement with fundraising best practice.
• Successfully supported the growth of two fledgling and now influential entrants - Our Kids Climate and the Global Climate and Health Alliance.

• Working closely with Taronga's major supporters, CEO, Senior Management Team, Patrons and Board, responsible for delivering a $31million capital campaign for Taronga's Institute of Science and Learning and fundraising for priority conservation, education and science projects in Australia and abroad.
• Development and implementation of fundraising strategies and cases for support for Taronga's capital programs, conservation partnerships and the Institute of Science and Learning.
• Management of 4 Senior Relationship Managers, 1 Trust and Foundation Manager, 1 Middle Donor Fundraiser, 1 Major Gift Fundraising Assistant.

• Senior Manager at Greenpeace International's headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands responsible for development and implementation of Greenpeace's global major gift and foundation fundraising strategy
• Ambitious global growth target of 14M EUR exceeded in year one a revised growth goal of 20M EUR exceeded in year three.
• Management of key stakeholders including the International Executive Director, GPI Board, Senior Management Team, Volunteers and Staff in the support major gift fundraising efforts
• Line management of Major Gift and Foundation fundraising specialists at Greenpeace International and support of major donor fundraisers around the world
• Project management of the annual major gift and foundation fundraising skillshare for the global major gift community.

• Major Gift Manager responsible for generating major donor, trust and foundation and middle donor income using face to face, mail, phone, events and email marketing.
• Proven success achieving annual major gifts income of $1million +
• Proven success more than doubling major gift income from 2007 to 2011.
• Management of key stakeholders including the Executive Director, Board, Senior Management Team and Campaigners to solicit major gifts face to face.

• Three month contract reviewing and revising the bequest strategy and materials to further improve Greenpeace's opeartions.

• Responsible for supporter relationship fundraising with the objectives of maximising bequest income and managing the production of the supporter newsletter 'Making Waves' and special Initiatives such as ship open days, supporter and public events, and the supporter loyalty program
• Responsible for generating an annual income of $1million+ and controlling expenditure budget of $340k
• Responsible for the line management and development of the Fundraising and Marketing Assistant.
