• Contribute to the development and management of the Catholic Church Endowment Society Inc (CCES) Work Health Safety and Injury Management System

• In collaboration with the Officer, lead the development and maintenance of best practice WHS culture
• Consult with colleagues on any WHS / IM issues providing advice on aspects of WHS / IM in response to queries and requests from workers, contractors and volunteers as appropriate

• Ensure that all workers, contractors, volunteers, invitees and students receive appropriate information / training to use designated places, materials and equipment safely within the school environment
• Ensure all contractors are appropriately licensed and insured for the work they are undertaking. Inductions / Hazardous work included
• Assist in the provision of worker inductions as required
• Participate as required in the investigation of hazards, incidents, injuries or near misses and then liaise with the workers to take corrective action appropriate to the situation with reference to the assessed risk
• Assist with the implementation and completion of risk assessment as required
• Participate in workplace safety inspections and audits ensuring that relevant WHS registers and records are maintained
• Encourage all workers to be pro-active in the implementation of early intervention systems
• Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on-time including record keeping
• Maintain databases providing information or data as required to ensure compliance with all reporting and recording requirements of the Catholic Church Exempt Licence
