• Host-based software: PowerPath on all platforms.
• Fabric switches: Brocade, Mc data and configurations of Zoning and ISL etc.
• Storage Provisioning (Like Creating Raid Group ID, binding LUN’s).
• Storage Allocation (Assigning LUN’s to hosts).
• Storage Monitoring & maintenance (Checking the status of the array by analyzing the SP collects and by using Performance logs to check the utilization of the resources & giving recommendations to the customers if any hardware/Software components need to be upgraded).
• Assisting the customers in making the Host available to the Storage system.
• Investigate escalated call homes/cases raised by Customer through EMC Powerlink for hardware and software issues by remotely dialing in to the customer’s storage array using Smartech / External modems. • Assisting the customer engineers on how to work with issues like Setting up the Dial Home Feature, Flare Code Upgrade, gathering .NAR files, SP collects.
• Helping the customers in creating the snap view, SAN Copy and Mirror view sessions and making them available to the secondary Host.
• Use Navisphere manager (GUI) for administration of EMC Clariions & NaviCLI to conduct health checks on Clariions.

· Involved in system admin activities including provisioning servers, user privileges management, upgrades, patching, storage, backups, restoration, taking snapshots and daily BAU support.

· Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of HP storage products (SAN products).

· MSA series, HSx series, VA, EVA, and other baseline products).

· Implementing Total storage solutions (SAN, NAS, RAID, SCSI).

· Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of HP storage products (SAN products).

· Implementing layered applications for business continuity and disaster

recovery using Mirrorview, SANCopy and Snapview.

· Implementation of software-based NAS system using iSCSI client and server software.

· Configure and troubleshoot fabric switches zoning (McData, Brocade).

· Work involves drafting and approving Root Cause Analysis reports for end-customer arrays facing data loss/unavailability.

· Attending escalation for IBM servers.

· Implementation of Hardware Clustering and Raid on IBM servers with External storage (EXP 10,300,400,500 & fastT 200,600,900).

· Implementation of SAN switches and directors (8, 16 & 32 port SAN switches).

· Implementation of Fiber storage devices with storage partitioning. (Fast T 200,500,600,700, NAS).

· Hands-on experience on hot plug, hot add, hot replace of Adapters, RAM, HDD etc. on medium and high-end servers and storage products.

· Experience of racking servers, storage devices and conversions of tower to rack.
