I am a Finance and Chinese student at the University of Sydney with a strong interest in investment banking and financial analytics. My academic experience includes financial modeling, capital structure analysis, and stock portfolio management.
Beyond my studies, I have gained hands-on experience in financial administration as an Invoice Manager at Sydney Badminton, where I managed payments, maintained accurate financial records, and ensured smooth financial operations. Additionally, as a School Partner at the University of Sydney’s School of Languages and Cultures (a university-run student leadership program) I act as a liaison between students and faculty, advocating for student initiatives and facilitating meaningful engagement. This role has strengthened my ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, a critical skill in finance.
Through my advanced Chinese studies, I have further developed a global perspective, completing two in-country intensive programs at Peking University and Wuhan University. These experiences have significantly enhanced my Chinese proficiency and cross-cultural communication skills, demonstrating my adaptability in diverse environments.
I am eager to apply my analytical and problem-solving skills in a corporate finance internship, contributing to data-driven financial decision-making.
As part of a student and faculty-led initiative at the University of Sydney, I co-organize and host weekly events aimed at helping Chinese learners enhance their language skills. These events provide participants with the opportunity to practice communication with native Chinese speakers, fostering both language development and cultural exchange.
