With over 10 years experience as an IT professional, I am a Salesforce expert with the experience to advise across your business technology stack. Since discovering and becoming passionate about Salesforce, I have both led and worked in agile teams across multiple organisations. I am currently the main Salesforce SME for a global start up, developed a custom Salesforce to AWS integration for a charity and continue to support Salesforce for a well-known Melbourne non-profit organisation.
I hold multiple Salesforce certifications and actively develop my skills to ensure I remain across industry trends. Professional development is something I have been committed to throughout my career, allowing me to rapidly bridge knowledge gaps and perform at a high standard.
Over my career, I have been trusted by managing directors, surgeons, and other professionals to understand their business and provide the right technical solution to their problems. This often involved guiding decision makers in choosing the appropriate solution, confidently articulating advantages and disadvantages and overcoming obstacles in the pursuit of the best possible outcome for the customer.
I have demonstrated my ability to quickly become proficient with new technologies. I am a good communicator and pride myself on developing strong rapport with colleagues and clients. I perform confidently amongst complexity, both independently and as part of a team, to simplify and optimize business processes. I value integrity, tenacity, and self-discipline to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
Salesforce Certifications
I am the lead Salesforce SME across three value streams. In addition to functional Salesforce work, I also perform a Product Owner and Scrum Master role within a team that performs the Systems function within the business.
In this time, my role has involved:
I have worked with Very Special Kids as an external resource, helping them integrate Salesforce into their fundraising and marketing department. In this time I have worked with various program leads to incorporate their processes in to Salesforce. This has involved:
I have worked with LSCPH as an external resource, providing Salesforce advice and support for their fundraising and marketing areas. A key achievement in this role was integrating their Peer 2 Peer fundraising platform - Grassrootz - with Salesforce, to provide a single source of truth. This integration creates a realtime flow of data between the systems, allowing fundraising staff to better engage with donors and report on campaign success.
Designed and built an automation process that significantly reduced the labour required to maintain the Baby Safe app. I used a combination of AWS Lambda, S3 and Salesforce to automatically update the app with images and PDFs, once uploaded to Salesforce by the user. This project saved significant time for volunteer and paid staff at the organisation.
