I have held senior positions across project acquisition, evaluation, development, maintenance and construction and have managed large scale operational mining assets and construction projects. I have managed full profit and loss accountability for multi-billion dollar businesses and capital projects. I am an experienced operations professional with extensive leadership and management skills in maintenance, production, rail, port and project disciplines in both the mining and production areas. I have an effective change management track record with long term business growth with strategic company alignment at the core. Previous roles have seen me responsible for the development of a multi-billion dollar mine and rail project, and the operation of world-class port and renewables assets. Using my skills in high value budget management and awareness of operational readiness I have been able to deliver multiple projects on time and on budget. As a current and previous mine Site Senior Executive (SSE), I have a comprehensive knowledge of the international legislation relating to Site Safety, Corporate and operational governance and Risk Management including, Emergency and health Response (including COVID, Ebola response and management), Safety Management Systems, Effective Risk and governance Management & Incident Investigation.
