Introduction

As a Carpenter and Building Supervisor with extensive experience in the construction industry. I have supervised a wide range of projects, from residential and commercial buildings to mining infrastructure. My technical expertise spans construction processes, including small to medium domestic buildings, insurance repairs, renovations, new builds, and the complex requirements of commercial and mining construction.

Since completing my Carpentry & Joinery apprenticeship, I have gained a deep understanding of engineering requirements and construction best practices. I hold an up-to-date contractor’s license, along with a valid driver’s license, forklift license, white card, and a working at heights certificate. I am highly adept at managing multiple projects, meeting critical deadlines under pressure, and maintaining exceptional attention to detail with a strong emphasis on site safety and OHS compliance.

I am proficient with modern technology, including computer and iPad systems, and I am quick to adapt to new processes. My ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team has allowed me to achieve strong performance outcomes in previous roles. I pride myself on my ability to organize, plan, and communicate effectively with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and direct managers to ensure that project goals are met efficiently and safely.

In 2020, after my position at Dynamic Bradview Roofing was made redundant due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I established my own carpentry contracting business, MRay Contracting Pty Ltd, employing a team of four carpenters, including myself. I am now seeking to secure a position with a reputable and stable company where I can bring my skills and experience to add value to your team.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my experience and qualifications align with the needs of your company.
