Summary

I am a 48 year old man with extensive life experiences. I hold a current NSW Drivers Licence with Class MR,R. I am First aid trained. I have great communication skills and I work well in a team environment.

I am currently a manager with the Department of Justice. I have been employed with the Department of Justice for over 22years. I am Professional, Dedicated, Devoted and pro active with all of my life choices.

As a manager I oversee the daily operations of a maximum Security Correctional Centre where i am responsible for the welfare and security of all staff and inmates within the centre. I am responsible for ensuring all safe work practices are followed. I have great communication skills and promote team work with all daily operations.

As a Senior K9 handler of a Specialised group I was responsible for a small team who are responsible for providing assistance and responding to critical incident's within Correctional Centres in NSW. I am able to make critical decisions in high pressure situations.

I am a training Officer for the Department where i am responsible for the safe delivery of many training courses within the department. I was responsible for training staff in the use of firearms, this required all safety procedures to be strictly adhered to at all times.

I was required to drive a departmental vehicle on a daily basis and ensured all safety inspections were conducted prior to driving the vehicle. I maintained all log book records and ensured all maintenance intervals were conducted.

I do have limited experience in the mining industry, however it was over 22 years ago.

I worked in drilling and exploration for 12 months in the open cut mine in Kalgoorlie Western Australia. During this time I always complied with and followed safety procedures. I then Worked for Eltins Ltd in an underground operation at North Parkes for a further 12 months. During this time i completed training for a Dump Truck Operator for underground operations.

I am now looking for a new challenge and career path. I know i will be an ideal candidate for a Dump Truck Operator.
