Accomplishments
Appointed to spearhead ExxonMobil's Extended Reach Drilling (ERD) campaign in Sakhalin Island, Russia, my role from 2010 to 2016 encompassed overseeing all aspects of liner and completion installations. During this tenure, I played a pivotal role in training local personnel on precise practices and procedures. Notably, I was summoned from my time off to lead the installation of the longest horizontal section liner to date, spanning an impressive 6 kilometers of 9 5/8" casing. This innovative feat utilized the Baker Floating Liner System, seamlessly integrating a subsequent 6 5/8" screens lower completion, with the shoe strategically set 100 meters off the well bottom on a remarkable total depth of 15,000 meters. To date, this achievement stands as an enduring record.
