Rough in and fit off of 3 large warehouses with multiple tenancies these works included

• Reviewed blueprints to determine electrical component and wiring locations.
• Led teams and delegated tasks to install, maintain, or repair electrical systems and wiring.
• Planned layout and installation of wiring and fixtures based on project specifications and building codes.
• Connected wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Installed cables, conductors and wire trays and completed necessary hook-ups for primary power lines.
• Placed and installed safety systems and set up emergency lighting, uninterruptible power systems and battery systems.
• Worked extensively on three-phase, 277/480 volt power distribution systems.
• Used plans and blueprints to correctly layout underground conduit systems.
• Use of scissor lift and boom equipment to carry out work at heights.

• Extensive use of a large variety of both power and hand tools to carry out works.

This period of my electrical career was spent working with my previous employer as a trade assistant still doing renovations, Fit-outs and new homes, These works included more of the same tasks although more of having a team of electricians i would delegate work to in a way to make sure all task and projects were carried out on time to meet deadlines and with accordance to the AS/NZS 3000 rules.

• Identified problems with electrical systems by observing operation, listening for problems and using test equipment such as multi-meters.
• Tested continuity of circuits with testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and ammeters.
• Diagnosed issues in electrical circuits and equipment and took proper corrective or preventive measures for repair.
• Traced and diagnosed electrical malfunctions using hand tools and test equipment.
• Resolved safety issues related to faulty wiring installation practices in a timely manner.

My apprenticeship was spent mostly doing renovations all around sydney, Shop fit-outs and new homes, These works included

• Installed electrical wiring and fixtures, such as outlets, switches, circuit breakers, junction boxes and wall sockets.
• Measured, cut and bent wire and conduit using hand tools and power tools.
• Installed lighting fixtures such as fluorescent bulbs or LED lights.
• Gathered required tools and equipment for each task to increase efficiency.
• Performed general maintenance on electrical systems including replacing worn parts and repairing faulty wiring.
• Dug trenches and created holes to pull conduit and install supports.
• Worked in all weather conditions and on multiple types of ladders and mechanical lifts.
• Completed semi-skilled and skilled work under supervision of fully qualified professionals like switchboard upgrades and new switchboard installs
• Followed relevant electrical and building codes for each job.
• Operated hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment to complete various aspects of jobs.
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of a system.
• Assisted electricians in wiring residential buildings with installation of electrical conduits.
