Since commencing employment with Coca Cola Europacific Partners in January 2022, I became a team member of the Licenced channel which focuses on the sales of well known alcoholic beverages such as Canadian Club, Jim Beam, House of Suntory, Rekorderlig and -196. Soft drinks is also a key part of my role, selling a variety of pack sizes from bottles, to glass and fountain.
Through this position I have developed a range of skills that have assisted towards the success achieved in my role;
Since joining my team I am proud to say that my territory is consistently in growth and I am top of the team in NC and NSR.
I was initially employed as the Bar Manager of the newly renovated restaurant bar. I implemented a new structure for the bar and trained new and existing staff to the highest standard.
Within a year I was promoted to General Manager.
Upon accepting this challenge, I used my ability to innovate and changed many processes and procedures such as balancing, cashing up, stock take, banking and reporting, and service issues.
I worked closely with stakeholders from different companies to host wine tasting evenings, develop marketing strategies, and create new drinks lists and putting in place profit margins on all products.
The venue was undertaking a new project which involved renovating the restaurant and also extending the outdoor dining area.
My role required me to do:
Weekly staff rosters.
Managing my own team.
New cocktail and food menus.
Stocktakes.
Liaising with suppliers.
Hosting regular staff meetings.
I began working at Rattle N Hum as a bar tender, I progressed to assistant manager within 4 months I was lucky enough to be given a sponsorship opportunity.
This was something I valued and worked extremely hard towards.
I thrived working as Assistant manager but progressed to General Manager, keen to take on new responsibilities and learn new skills.
Rattle N Hum is a very busy venue in the centre of Cairns where my responsibilities lie both front of house and back.
The job role includes managing roughly 50 staff members, controlling light, sound and live music, running the busy restaurant and the side sports bar, payroll, purchasing and other HR issues.
It also included liaising with customers, licensing representatives, city security and police to ensure safe practice, and food and liquor representatives.
Marketing and promotions are also key, selling the right products and the right price with correct point of sale is what makes Rattle N Hum successful.
