My current role is a personal carer preceptor which includes social support group organisation, intake of new admissions, reviews, and personal care work. Fortunately I have been able to progress further and now work with our liaison officer to answer calls, liaise with clients and their families, updating of schedules, learning rostering, pay role, employing of future staff and communicating with fellow co-workers. I am proficient with our based software, word, excel, creating calendars and newsletters. Documentation of client’s progress and needs within Alaya Care.
I maintain a high level of customer service and implement activities that will cater to the clients and their needs while keeping within the Aged Care quality standards. I attend staff meetings regularly and all mandatory training that is required by BlueCare. I strive to work to the best of my abilities following the BlueCare principals. It is my goal to be able to further my career within the Blue Care organization. I hope to successfully apply my skills and knowledge that I have gained by working in the community to a new role in the administration side of Blue Care. I also endeavour to complement these skills with further training and development. It is my ambition to be able achieve my goals within the professional team at Blue Care.
