As a Supervisor in BoRack I have to be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and supervising all phases of the site installation of a project. This is supported by the Construction Manager who assist me to complete your tasks in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Project Planning, Coordination, and Control:

· Develop and implement comprehensive project plans in conjunction with the relevant Construction Manager, including; Project timeline, crew requirement, MHE requirement and installation sequencing.

· Maintain the Project timeline: Ensure that the project progress adheres to the agreed project timeline. Report daily on the project progress. Identify time saving opportunities and implement to opportunities.


2. Team Leadership: Motivate the team and hold them accountable for meeting daily goals, hold daily toolbox talks and clearly communicate the goals for the day to the crew, provide clear direction, guidance, and support to crew, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Ensure that the crew is aware of the installation requirements for the brand of racking being installed.


3. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the racking is installed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and the drawings provided by the supplier. Do a walkthrough at the end of each day and check the quality of the installation against the guidelines of BoRack. Actively seek out quality improvement suggestions and bring the suggestions to the attention of BoRack management for implementation in the Quality Assurance system.


4. Safety Compliance: Ensure that the site is tidy, and rubbish are placed in the designated area / bin. Ensure that site Crew wears the correct PPE as per BoRack Standards. Actively search for improvements to site safety and bring it to the attention of the site supervisor. Record and report any safety breaches using the appropriate channels. Ensure that Toolbox Talks are held daily and attended by all site crew in accordance with BoRack Standards. Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and BoRack Standards.


5. Communication: Clearly communicate the daily goals to the crew and assign tasks to each crew member. Communicate all site requirements and changes with the Construction Manager in real time (without delay). Use Connect as the primary communication channel, however all urgent communication such as a serios injury should be communicated by phone and followed up by Connect. Inform the relevant Operations Manager in advance of changes to ME, additional requirement or reduction in requirement.


6. Cost Saving: Identify opportunities for cost savings and bring this to the attention of the management of BoRack.


7. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact the project timeline or budget. Collaborate with Construction Manager and site crew to develop and implement effective solutions to site issues.
