As a Data Analyst Intern at Yappy Pet Pte Ltd, I was responsible for supporting the Sales, Marketing, and Procurement departments by transforming raw data into actionable business insights. My primary role involved cleaning, analysing, and visualising large datasets to help the company make data-driven decisions that improved operational efficiency and supported strategic planning.

Key responsibilities included:

• Sales Data Analysis: I analysed sales performance across e-commerce platforms such as Shopee and foodpanda.sg, identifying trends, top-performing products, and areas for growth. I created dashboards and visual reports using Excel and Tableau to assist the sales team in decision-making and promotions.
• Demand Forecasting: I collaborated with the procurement team to forecast demand for both existing and new products, including the launch of Boneve Freeze-Dried Pet Food. My forecasting models accounted for seasonality, market trends, and historical performance.
• Marketing Campaign Analysis: I worked closely with the marketing team to evaluate the impact of promotional campaigns by comparing sales data before, during, and after campaigns. My insights helped improve the targeting and effectiveness of future campaigns.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: I regularly presented my findings during team meetings and collaborated with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, and Procurement to align data insights with business goals.
• Tool Proficiency: I used tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and Tableau for data analysis and visualization. I also began developing my skills in Python and SQL for automation and database management.

I dedicated a month of my time to volunteer at a medical institution where I actively contributed to their mission of providing free medical support to the elderly in our community. During this month-long experience, I played a pivotal role in spreading awareness by distributing informative flyers about the available services. Additionally, I offered my assistance to the dedicated healthcare professionals on staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This impactful experience not only allowed me to give back to the community but also honed my teamwork and communication skills. It exemplifies my commitment to making a positive impact in healthcare and the community at large.
