• Successfully delivered the 2024 annual operating budget for Sydney Metro and Victoria region. The 2024 plan has both business units growing revenue by 7%, and profit by 10%.

Partnering with Sales and Operations, setting targets and understanding the

resources requirements to achieve revenue growth in 2024. The plan included

cost saving initiatives in the reduction of subcontractors in the remote region of

Victoria by setting up an in-house team in the regional area.

• Provided financial modeling on potential capital works in 2024 for the Victoria Indoor Plants business unit and presented to the senior leadership team for their consideration.
• Oversight of salaries and all payroll related costs through maintaining control of the approval process for the recruitment and replacement of positions.
• Worked closely with the administrative team in Sydney to ensure company procurement policy is followed.
• Undertook a review of all non-compliant purchase orders in 2023. Identified the root cause of non-compliance relating to delays in receiving delivery documents, resulting in goods being receipted in the wrong period.

As a result of the finding, I engaged the Operations team to educate them about

the impact of these delays, and set up a process for all staff to follow when

receiving goods.

• Provided practical advice on how to alleviate the pressure of getting all delivery documents back to the administrative team by placing large orders in the beginning of the period, and limit the number of orders in the last week of the month.
• On-going review and analysis of financial results to provide monthly forecast update to the senior leadership team.
• Undertake ad hoc analysis of revenue/cost variances to the operating plan.
• Participate in monthly aged debtor's review, and provide guidance on the key accounts to target.

• Responsible for providing weekly sales update for the 90-day horizon to support management decisions.
• Oversight of trade spend accruals for Coles and Woolworths ensured monthly P&L are accurate.
• Performed monthly balance sheet reconciliation for all prepaid expenses for Sales and Marketing.
• Successfully implemented process improvement allowing promotional programs to be created in a bulk upload process in the trade spend management system.

• Lead and manage the audit team to ensure the completion of deliverables within the budget.
• Reporting findings back to Audit Manager and Partner.
• Performed audits on a range of companies, reviewed financial statements and note disclosures as per the International Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Performed audits procedures touching all areas of operations (cash, receivables, fixed assets, creditors, payroll, operation expense, fees and grants revenue).
• Contributed to the learning and development of junior team members through reviewing of their and work, and providing constructive feedback.
