Given my age (16), it might seem unusual that I have worked in various places, but I consider it a privilege to be involved with three family businesses (Afghan Kebab House, Afghan Supermarket and AFG Fruit & Veg Shop) and to assist them as needed. I wanted to gain experience beyond my comfort zone, which led me to work at Roxy Kebabs Mill Park. While I value the experience and the great team there, I am now looking for opportunities outside of family businesses and the food and hospitality sector.
