Joined as an 18 year old apprentice & was put in new equipment installation for 5 years .

Had to understand layouts, prints and drawings.There were regular classroom and exams conducted thereby checking progress of every apprentice.

Upon completion of 5- years training was taken as skilled worker and put in tuning and wiring works for 1 year on elevators and escalators.

After successful completion was given an area with a motor vehicle to attend elevator and escalators services and breakdowns.

I was handling important sites like oil refinery, hotels, office buildings.

Later went up the ranks to become supervisor and handled 10 men with 500 customer base.

In July 2007 migrated to Australia.
