Shanae Collins

Hello there!!!

My name is Shanae Collins (they/them), everyone just refers to me as "Sheezy". I am currently seeking part time employment. I have over ten years experience in the hospitality industry, working many positions ranging from a manager with McDonalds to head barista positions. I am incredibly passionate when it comes to making coffee, I appreciate the culture and believe drinking coffee should be an experience. I completed my barista passport through Axil Coffee Roasters in 2018 which inspired my love for making beautiful coffee. I pride myself on maintaining a clean station, working as efficiently as possible to ensure speed and flow whilst never sacrificing the quality of flavour / extractions.

I am comfortable running the machine by myself, or working on the line with multiple baristas. Competent with Latte art. I am confident interacting with customers and appreciate the importance of growing friendly relationships with regulars. Outside of working in hospitality I'm a sponsored skateboarder, I play a bit of music (guitar) here and there, like to ride my bike, and very much enjoy playing pool / table tennis at the bowls club haha. I'm a fairly easy going person, definitely try to live on the less stressful side of life. I'm incredibly hardworking and driven and choose to apply this mindset to all aspects of my life. I just returned from 2 months overseas skateboarding and am looking to move into a fresh environment. I would be incredibly excited to work within your team :) I am available 3-4 days a week (happy to work a weekend shift) and can start immediately, look forward to hearing from you.
