Summary
After working for almost a decade in the Hospitality sector, I turned my focus to a sales role within the construction and building industry. This demanding, and rewarding position, introduced me to customer needs and deadlines on a new level. It was within this job that I learnt to really listen to clients, and understand customer satisfaction.
From there, I progressed into Renewable Energy with The Betta Group of Companies. I spent almost 9 years with Betta, under different 'Caps', with the same title - Operations Manager.
My time with The Betta Group of Companies required hands-on labour with Demolition and Asbestos removal, including the preparation and execution of SWMS and JSA's, submission of approvals through Council and State Government, filtering and employing staff in both a casual and Full-Time basis including apprentices, disciplining and relieving staff as necessary, working closely with Stake holders, and maintaining a safe and responsible work environment associated with ISO accreditations 9001 (Quality), 45001 (Environment), and AS 4801 (Health and Safety).
This experience has enabled my skills to develop as a safety conscious and reliable leader.
