Enthusiastic, hardworking, and creative, with a commitment to providing excellent care and education for children. My experience has enabled me to provide nurturing and responsive environments that extended each child’s interests in line with the EYLF.
Working in a Montessori centre equipped me with the experience to successfully connect with and provide meaningful experiences for each child that focused on their self-help skills, with the view that each child is a capable and competent leader in a successfully prepared environment.
As I built on my skills as a Room Leader, and guided educators within my classroom, I developed leadership skills that enabled me to transition into an Educational Leader role. I became skilled at leading every educator to be confident and knowledgeable in the EYLF principles, practices, and outcomes while using their personal experiences to contribute to planning and experiences.
As I demonstrated my ability to lead teams, I then became the Assistant Director where I manage daily operations of the centre including tours and enrolments, accounts, financial responsibilities, staffing and ratio requirements. I also hold strong relationships with the local community. I have taken on roles such as WHS officer where my high attention to detail, and additional training was used to ensure the centre is always fully compliant and provides a safe and secure environment for all children and team members.
