I grew up on the family farm in the Jindabyne region were I was lucky to be mentored by the old mountain country men.

After completing my apprentice as a butcher I've worked on various horse and cattle property's around Australia and New Zealand where I have gained a vast knowledge of cattle husbandry and management. I have a great passion for the cattle industry and all of the day to day running's of a property. I'm more than confident with horses and working dogs and have a strong team of both also. I believe I would bring a lot of experience to the job as well as knowledge as I have worked in the Victorian high country when younger and have always wanted to return on permanent basis. Responsibilities included coordinating the arrival, handling and the processing of the stock, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing stock levels to meet production demands such as travelling away to various sale to purchase stock. Im more than confident in this role including, costings and percentage yields on carcass weights I believe This is a very valuable tool in any field where cattle are to be sold of property into various markets as it helps identify the most suitable market for the stock also obtaining the best financial outcome for the vendor.
