• Over 20 years of experience in Mining operations, plant machinery, welding, fabrication, boilermaking, supervision, training, maintenance, coordination, and logistics.
• Successfully led a series of significant fabrications, including defence force parts, moulds, etc., for companies such as Rolls Royce, Lockheed Martin, Australian Defence Force, leading a team of up to 26 staff members and contractors with Marand Precision Engineering.
• Successfully fabricated and installed an automation system for the Rio Tinto automation workshop (7 mile) with Marand Precision Engineering.
• Successfully ran the workshop at Moranbah, leading up to 40 staff members performing repair works for the mine sites, including longwall, and all fabrication works (Mine sites: Blackwater, Moranbah, Norridge Park, Peak Downs, Siraji, Goonyella Riverside – supporting the mines).
• Successfully completed welding/fabrication works for major clients while working for Davco Engineering, including but not limited to: Kane Construction, Little Creatures Brewery, McConnell Dowell Australia.
• Successfully fabricated a series of specialised equipment for Mars Confectionary, including conveyors, hoppers, and pipework for Stainless Steel and Aluminium, as well as operating machinery.
• Maintained a clear driving history and consistently upheld a strong health and safety record throughout my career.
