In my work experience so far, I have demonstrated the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. I can work without close supervision, as required. I am a very quick learner and not afraid to ask questions when I need help.
I enjoy working with people and solving challengers kindly and courteously. I take pride in my appearance and in my ability to do a good job. I am eager to learn, punctual, friendly, honest and trustworthy.
I am looking for the opportunity to develop my skills further and to demonstrate my abilities to my new employer.

My position at Hillview house was the one I thought would be my last. Working alongside some of the absolute best I put my all into this home. Furthering my knowledge in many different fields of work. These included rostering for over 80 staff members, managing timesheets for these incredible workers, helping on the floor when needed, taking part in activities with the amazing residents, organisation of Staff BBQs and Mothers Day morning tea for residents and family. Assist other members of staff when required. I would quite often offer my time to help within the catering dept when short, serving meals and feeding the residents. But most importantly, being that ear they so often need and crave. I would always ensure my staff were looked after, felt supported and were appreciated. I believe this to be one of the most important parts within any workplace. My care and compassion were shown towards both staff and Residents on a daily basis.
I had a team of 3 in my administration dept that I trained and supported during my time at Hillview House. I believe my time at Hillview has proven to show my ability to change and adapt within the workplace having been led by 4 DONs within a 12-month period. Unfortunately, my position was made Redundant when they decided on a restructure of both Tarragal House (Sister House) and Hillview House. I will continue to volunteer my time there on the weekends as the bonds I have built with the residents are not something I want to give up.

I absolutely love my job at the Private Consulting Suites. Working
closely with the Drs and their Patients has been amazing. We currently
have five Medical Oncologists, two Cardiologists, one Paediatrician
and provide rooms to Central Coast Orthopaedics as well as Pain
Management Specialists and Surgical Oncologists. As we have so many
Doctors with so many different specialties we are currently using four
different booking and billing programs as well as email and
Letters/Correspondence programs daily. This at times can be
challenging however I feel I handle the diversity quite well.
As our main specialty is Medical Oncology, I have found myself to
display more Empathy and be more understanding towards people and
their current situations. It has helped me grow as a parent, a partner as
well as a person and employee. I would love to continue within my
current position, however, due to the current situation (COVID), the
ongoing expansion of the Consulting Suites and having a large family, I
feel having a position closer to home would be greatly beneficial
to myself.

Casual Position – Duties include but are not limited to Answering and directing phone calls, booking Patient appointments on the Day Program as well as the Drs clinic, setting up and shutting down for the day, Private Health claims, Medicare Claims, Liaising with Drs and Coordinators.
During my time at the Gosford Private hospital, I have gained a lot of
knowledge in all aspects of my role there. Building relationships with
Drs, Staff members and most importantly the Patients has been a definite highlight for me. Being able to work on both the Day Rehabilitation as well as the Drs Clinics has enabled me to build on my knowledge and further myself as an employee.
I was transferred within the hospital to a role more suited to my lifestyle as they were no longer able to provide me with sufficient hours.

Full time position – Duties included Audio typing, answering and directing telephone calls, filing and maintaining important patient documents, booking patients orthopaedic procedures which included all paperwork, communicating kindly and courteously with patients both face to face and via telephone on a day-to-day basis. Archiving private and confidential patient information. Quoting patients with their out-of-pocket expenses by combining the private health rebate, Medicare rebate, surgical fees and hospital fees.
My main responsibility in my role at the Central specialist clinic was the management and running of two orthopaedic surgeons' clinics. I found
this role to be exhilarating both on a professional level as well as a personal level. It really opened my mind to how much hard work and special considerations go into helping people with any situations in life.
I regretfully had to leave my position to relocate to NSW.

Full time position: Dispensing spectacles, checking Inter ocular pressures and taking photos of the eye, booking patient appointments, answering telephones, processing Medicare batches, preparing the fortnightly roster, banking, managing incoming and outgoing mail, ordering stock, stocktake, opens and closes, end of day duties.
This position for me was extremely challenging, not having any experience with the ordering or dispensing of spectacles. 7 months into the position we underwent quite an extensive system change over however I feel I picked up things quite quickly and anything I was unsure of I would always ask before completing. I enjoyed how involved my position was at Specsavers and how everything you do, if not carried out correctly, has ramifications.
Reason for leaving: I was hired for my knowledge and experience in pretesting, however after one year and a half, I have still not been given the opportunity to practice these skills to my full ability as previously arranged.
