Shannon Warren

I started off my studies at the University of Johannesburg ( UJ) doing a undergraduate degree in Sports Psychology. I then decided to pursue a career in Biokinetics and did a Postgraduate BHSc ( Hons) in Biokinetics at the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) in 2014.

My thesis focused on physical activity during pregnancy.

Since then I have developed a special love for hydrotherapy/aqua therapy and have qualifications in Advanced International Aquatic Therapy Techniques.

During my time practicing as a biokineticist i spent many years focusing on patients with Neurological diseases, Orthopaedic and Chronic rehabilitation as well as the geriatric population. I ran a successful practice at a retirement village in Johannesburg, South Africa, in which spent many hours in the pool doing rehabilitation with my patients.

My family and i moved to the Sunshine Coast , Australia in March 2023, i have since completed my Austswim - Teacher of Swimming and water Safety course.
