I am living in a home where there is a lady named Rachel and her husband and their 2 dogs. Rachel has brain damage. She cannot walk and is reliant on her wheelchair. Her husband Christopher is her main carer. He changes her disposable underwear, showers her, feeds her and gives her medication daily. Rachel has very limited speech and communication from her is through notices that she makes.

Christopher has looked after Rachel for 16 years and when he needs to rest I take care of Rachel and attend to her needs.

Rachel and I have become friends.

Live-in Caregiver for a 63 year-old male who had terminal emphasemia. I managed household tasks effectively including cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and doing errands to maintain a comfortable clean living environment.

We had a strong rapport on a client worker basis.

Daily chemist shopping for his medication and setting up his breathing apparatus.
