Returned to Lighthouse Health Group in a casual role, providing Mentor support for three (3) new Support Coordinator staff, conducting Occupational Therapy Medico-Legal assessment and reporting, and provision of OT Supervision (inclusive of AHPRA reporting) for a colleague who was returning to practice.

• Worked as a Senior Clinician within a multi-disciplinary private practice
• Role was community-based, and included catastrophic injury case management, NDIS Specialist Support Coordination, Occupational Therapy assessments and intervention, home environment assessment, equipment provision, wheelchair/seating assessment, management of a high caseload, and the preparation of medico-legal reports, for clients aged 16yrs – 70yrs.

• Intake assessment, client needs/goal planning, coordination of and referral to relevant services, discharge planning.

• Seating and postural assessment, wheelchair and seating support prescription; liaison with relevant team members and services.

• Rotations included Neurosurgery Inpatients, Neurosurgery Outpatients, Orthopaedics & Amputee Inpatients, Home Visiting (including structural modifications), supervision of OT Students.

• Community and school-based Occupational Therapy for school aged children, supervision of OT Students.

• Paediatric Neurosurgery Inpatient and Outpatient services, supervision of OT Students.

• Community and school-based Occupational Therapy for school aged children, supervision of OT Students.

• Slow stream rehabilitation (Geriatric): Acquired Brain Injury, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Amputees.

• Community and school-based Occupational Therapy for school aged children.

• Spinal Cord Injury, Amputees, Spinal Orthopaedic Surgery.

• Provision of short term assistance to Senior Lecturer in the form of conducting literature search and assistance to coordinate research resources.
