During my short duration as a fully qualified carpenter, I:

• Furthered and deeply developed the same skills I learnt as an Apprentice Carpenter
• Inspected completed projects for quality assurance purposes before delivering them to customers.
• Operated power tools safely when performing carpentry tasks such as drilling holes into lumber pieces.
• Prepared surfaces by sanding or scraping off old finishes prior to refinishing them.
• Assisted in the installation of metal framing systems for commercial construction projects.

Among many other tasks.

During my years as an Apprentice Carpenter, I learnt to:

• Install cabinets, door frames, window frames, baseboards and other fixtures according to specifications.
• Adequately transport tools and supplies from one job site to another using a personal vehicle
• Utilize various tools, equipment, materials and forming systems to complete construction tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace to optimize performance, efficiency and safety.
• Erect scaffolding to assemble above-ground structures.
• Install windows, flooring, or trim using hand or power tools.
• Clean job sites daily after completion of each task ensuring no debris was left behind.
• Perform rough framing tasks such as laying out walls or installing studs in preparation for drywall installation.
