Hand Therapist for Part Time in Avon, CT!!
  
Select Physical Therapy in Avon, CT is seeking a part time hand therapist for our outpatient center. An ideal hand therapist is an occupational therapist who is also a CHT. We can consider an occupational therapist without CHT but you MUST have solid splinting experience we have a full time CHT and COTA on staff completing our team. At minimum you must have completed a level II fieldwork in hands. This would be a part time position with set schedule of 15-20 hours per week. Hours will vary but some evenings until 6pm will be required for our population. We are hoping continued growth leads to a full time position.

Responsibilities
  
Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
* Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
* Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
  
Qualifications
  
Qualifications:

* Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
* Must hold specialty certification or licensure in Hand Therapy.
* National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED.
* Minimum of two years experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic required.
* Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience required.
* Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
* Valid state driver's license.
