Currently working within a day options program with job roles including picking up and dropping of participants from their house or SIL accomodation and taking them to their designated sites for the day. Taking participants on outings, organised by the company, organising lunches and medication if required, toileting participants when required and creating a fun and enjoyable environment.

In my job I am required to fill out daily journals describing the activities the participants participated in, fill out toileting records, behaviour reports, observation reports and incident reports when required

• Started as a Disability Support Worker doing jobs such as personal care, preparation of meals including assisted feeding, morning and night routines such as transfers, changing of incontinence aids and toileting, medication administration, household duties, reports, daily progress notes and taking clients out into the community for different activities.

• Started my role as the Quality Service Leader doing jobs such as rosters, financial reconciliation for the service as well as the clients, sorting of appointments, taking the lead on decision making, writing reports and doing daily progress notes, communication with client’s families, day options and other managers.
