  • Identify potential risks and suggest mitigation strategies during the negotiation process.
  • Exercise sound judgement within the defined procedures and practices of the department in order to determine the appropriate actions, including when to escalate certain matters to the Senior Contracts Manager for external legal counsel.
  • Liaising, where required, with the Proposals, Business Development, Project Delivery and Finance Departments in the timely processing of contract requests.
  • Support the tracking of key departmental metrics and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor contract milestones, expiration dates, and renewals to ensure timely actions are taken.
  • Attend the Business Development Project Handover meetings in order to obtain client specifics to support creation of the appropriate contracting solution for the client, where required.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding contract-related inquiries and clarifications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in contract management procedures. Drive other departmental initiatives as required, including review and input of departmental templates, playbooks, initiatives, workflow, and training.
