Volunteer Experience

  • YULI, An Aboriginal program delivered to primary school students to educate them about their cultural significance in their local area. My role was to facilitate this learning, share my cultural knowledge, and guide conversations about their interests and questions.
  • AIME, An Aboriginal program supporting high school completion and promoting ongoing study and career opportunities. My involvement was organizing and having input into the structure of the day’s activities. As a student learning support mentor, I worked with teachers and offered guidance to students.
  • Student Mentor, As a year 10 Child Studies student, I was invited to run a presentation to the year 9 Child Studies class. In this presentation, I displayed my assessment task and explained the process I took in undertaking the task and provided advice on how to meet the criteria to a high standard.
