Activities

From May to November every year I volunteer as a Team Leader for an organisation in conjunction with Griffith University called Humpbacks and Highrises. We collect amazing data on the whales (length, size, male/female, speed they travel and how long they dive for etc..). We also take specific photos of the humpback whales for identification purposes. This allows the researchers track the whales through photos of their flukes and check their health. I absolutely love it and look forward to their next migration.
