I currently provide end-to-end recruitment support for the Lendlease Construction Business. My portfolio consists of professional roles such as Commercial Managers, Senior Project Engineers, Contract Administrators, Site Engineers and more. The construction projects I support are valued from $200million to $3 billion. In my role I have:

  • Created and driven project recruitment plans to meet demanding project requirements in a timely manner while providing written and face-to-face weekly work in progress reports.
  • Collaborated closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and crafted recruitment strategies to fill critical positions in a timely manner.
  • Utilized Workday as the primary applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and ensure a smooth recruitment process.

I recruited for a variety of senior level roles such as Senior Manager (Group Audit), Head of Government Affairs, Solution Architect, Senior Data Scientist, Manager – Regularity Reporting and more. My responsibilities included but were not limited to:

  • Partnering with various Hiring Managers and People Leaders to obtain a thorough understanding of their recruitment needs and develop recruitment strategies to fill vacancies in a timely manner with top talent.
  • Providing market insights driven by data to Leaders to help with decision making.
  • Continuously developing a multi-channel sourcing strategy to develop talent pools and source candidates that meets the needs of the business.
  • Being the champion of my Team on the topic of Women in Leadership (WIL) and drive discussion and action on how The Group can be more diverse and achieve its WIL targets.

I was involved in the high-volume recruitment of the KPMG Managed Services Operations Financial Advice Remediation Project with my main clients being BT – Westpac, Commonwealth Bank and MLC - National Australian Bank (NAB):

  • Filled a variety of white-collar roles including remediation case assessors, training coordinators, customer contact analysts, management information analysts, calculations analysts and other roles within the financial services industry
  • Worked independently and in a team to organise multiple assessment centres incorporating a variety of group activities, rapid fire behavioural interview sessions and technical written assessments.
  • Utilised Seek Premium Talent Search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and a variety of sourcing strategies to source top talent for niche roles.
  • Successfully performed daily tasks such as writing job descriptions and job advertisements, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, interviewing with hiring managers, conducting reference and background checks, writing contracts and onboarding new starters.

I began my amazing journey at CPA in a Disability Support Practitioner role and within 18 months transitioned into a Talent Acquisition role. While in a TA role I was involved with the high-volume recruitment of disability support practitioners across Sydney and Newcastle. My key responsibilities and achievements were:

  • Effectively conducted phone screens and face-to-face interviews in order to recruit staff that meet business requirements.
  • Sourced candidates via social media campaigns, seek.com, indeed and various job boards.
  • Successfully completed a project that entailed onboarding over 150 permanent staff members in 6 months.
  • Created an applicant tracking system using excel to maintain and track candidate progress throughout the full recruitment life cycle.
  • Collected and analysed data on candidate progress and team productivity levels and directly reported this information to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Performed the pre-employment checks and on boarding process of staff through conducting and organising national police checks, functional assessments, reference checks, extending verbal offers and compiling and processing employment contract.
  • Proudly and confidently promoted CPA at TAFE career events so as a means to raise awareness of the organisation as well as attract new talent.
