I am a medical student who has found my clinical years to be incredibly valuable. During my time at The Alfred, I have developed a significant interest in Radiology. While formal rotations in this specialty are not available until fifth year, I have proactively sought to gain further insight by shadowing radiology consultants, attending multi-disciplinary meetings, and independently engaging with Radiopaedia (including preparing cases for future upload).
This dedication to imaging is complemented by my involvement as a primary data collector and investigator in a retrospective study on neonatal MRI outcomes. My interests in medicine were shaped by dissections completed in my preclinical years, which have helped foster a deep appreciation for anatomy and its role in understanding complex pathology and achieving meaningful outcomes.
