During my time working at Circles of Hair in Subiaco, I've had the opportunity to expand my skills significantly. I've developed deeper into the art of hair colouring, learning about various techniques and how to achieve the perfect shades for different clients. This has enhanced my understanding of colour theory and the importance of selecting the right tones to complement individual styles.
In addition to styling and colour, I've gained valuable experience in styling for special occasions, such as weddings and function parties. This has taught me how to create elegant and sophisticated looks that not only suit the event, but also make clients feel their best. I've also explored and gained confidence in foiling and cutting techniques, which have allowed me to add dimension and texture to hair, enhancing the overall appearance.
Overall, my journey at Circles of Hair has been incredibly rewarding, but also challenging in a positive way.

Working in a salon as a Hairdressing apprentice has taught me so much. I’ve learned

how to provide excellent customer service, from greeting clients to understanding their

needs and preferences. I’ve gained hands-on experience with various hair treatments

and styling techniques, fabulous colours and even started the art of Balayage and

foiling. This has improved my technical skills and confidence in the salon with clients

and peers. The fast-paced environment has helped me become more efficient and

organised. Additionally, I’ve developed strong communication skills by consulting with

clients and working as part of a team. Overall, this experience has been invaluable in

preparing me for future roles in the beauty industry.
