DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assistant in Nursing
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating, toileting and changing bed linens.
- Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments.
- Observe, monitor and record client's physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to EN's, RN's and manager.
- Encourage clients to participate in social and recreational activities.

- To assist with the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities and lifestyle programs which enable clients to participate in a variety of experiences to improve their quality of life.
- Check communication book/diary for notes and references.

- Check birthday list; ensure residents receive a card and present. The visit must also be documented.
- Check live every day calendar for day's activities and change A3 activity calendar to correct day.

- Assist residents to dining rooms for lunch as necessary.

- Check with reception to see if there is any mail and deliver as necessary during resident lunch period.
- Check for lifestyle plan reviews and commence.
- Conduct 1:1 visits or commence/complete lifestyle reviews as allocated and/ or any other tasks as set by lifestyle coordinator.
- Assist residents to afternoon tea as necessary. Rest room, pack equipment away and complete relevant documentation.
- Ensure team office is left neat, report off duty to lifestyle coordinator.
