Python application development. Currently working on the Kraken project for Octopus Energy Australia. Kraken is a Python/Django application to facilitate retail energy market operations for clients such as Origin, Nectr and Ergon energy.

Tasks:

- Development of new features in Python/Django/Postgres

- Writing unit, integration and functional tests

- Monitoring of production systems / triaging of errors, bugs.

- Liaise with delivery manager on client requirements

Application development for IPSI's IVR telephony project to accept payments through IPS's payment gateway system. The project has been built with Asterisk media server and Python API's.

Tasks:

- Write and test new features in Python

- Debugging VOIP connection issues (SIP Protocol)

- General maintenance and monitoring of IVR system.

Backend application development for TaxPlus Project, Rwanda. TaxPlus was a project with the local Rwanda/Kigali Government for development of an application to track the collection of property and business taxes.
Tasks:

- Backend application development in Python/Django

- Optimise relational database queries (Postgres)
- Sorting and cleaning of data from local government sources to be imported into the application.
- Liaising with Rwandan/Kigali staff about business requirements.

30Thirty was a marketing and digital agency that provides online competitions and prize draws for their clients.

Tasks:
- Web development in Python/Django for the back-end prize draw systems using internally developed Python libraries.
- Development of web user interface components using JavaScript/JQuery.

- Provided internal IT support when required.
