It is worthy of note that I spent 3 years volunteering as an NGO on the Island of Espiritu Santo. Building roads, working on hospital and school projects, educating and giving opportunities to local Ni-Vanuatuans. This time taught me many life skills that have underpinned my work ethic, as well as an abiding appreciation of our privileges in Australia.

- Additionally, given the economic melt down at the time, I learned a great deal about credit control, debt collection and rationalisation
